Sharing Playlists

Sharing music with DISCO is a breeze. The easiest way to do this is to share a playlist.

How to Share your Playlist

1. Open the Playlist menu (⋮).
2. Select Share.
   
3. In the Share Playlist menu, choose an option to share your Playlist from either the Share or Copy URL tab:

There are three ways to share your Playlist:

• email your Playlist directly
• assign a URL to Contact(s)
• copy the URL and share it outside of DISCO

Email

By selecting the Email playlist directly option from the Share tab in the Share Playlist menu, you can send to other DISCO users directly by either entering their email, searching for a business name, or Mailing List, and selecting it from the drop-down.

DISCO will bring up suggestions for you once you type in a few characters: 

Theicon means a person, which can be either a non-DISCO user or a DISCO user.

Theicon means a DISCO team inbox (a general inbox for a DISCO account).

Theicon means a Mailing List you've created.

Searching for a business name will bring up their Team Inbox, a group inbox managed by the other business: 

Selecting a Mailing List will populate all contacts from that list and you'll be able to remove any before sending:

You can then add a Message if you like, and then click the green Send to Recipients button.

After sharing, you'll see options to view the playlist access stats, or share the Playlist again: 

Your recipients will be notified via email, and you'll also get a confirmation email. 

Assign URL

By selecting the Assign URL to a Contact option from the Share tab in the Share Playlist menu, you can search for a Contact using an email address, DISCO user, or name, and select it from the drop-down.

Click Assign URL and a unique URL will be generated for that Contact.

You can then copy that URL and send it to your Contact:

Note: Any activity (page views, streams, downloads) originating from this link will be attributed to the specific contact in the Playlist Stats, even if someone else were to access the link.

Copy URL

By selecting Copy URL tab in the Share Playlist menu, you can copy any of these links and send them to anyone outside of DISCO.

Note: Copying and sharing any of the Playlist Share URLs will not generate individualized Playlist Stats. Instead, these stats will be aggregated under "Other recipients".
