Setting up Albums on DISCO

Want your clients to see your newest releases? DISCO's Album support feature allows you to categorize and showcase your albums for your organization, as well as to display them on your DISCO Catalog.

Turning a Playlist into an Album

There are two ways to turn an existing Playlist into an Album:

From Playlist Settings:

  1. Open the Playlist menu ().

  2. Select Playlist Settings.

  3. From the Playlist Info tab, under Browse Settings, set the Album only toggle to ON (it should appear green).

  4. Click Save Playlist.

Using the Edit playlist option:

  1. Open the Playlist menu ().

  2. Select Edit playlist.

  3. This will open your Playlist in the Playlist Creator. From the Playlist Creator, click Save.

  4. In the Save Playlist menu, from the Playlist Info tab, under Browse Settings, set the Album toggle to ON (it should appear green).

  5. Optional: Enter a Release date if you'd like your clients to see your newest releases in your DISCO Catalogs.

  6. Click Save Playlist.

Showcasing Albums on Catalogs

Now that your albums have been set up either automatically or when saving playlists, you'll be ready to showcase them on your DISCO Catalog.

Navigate to Content > Featured albums to publish and feature certain albums.

Don't see the album you were looking for? You can also search for any album in your DISCO and publish it to your Catalog:

You can also edit the look and details of your album. Upload album artwork and set a release date for the best browsing experience.

When you're done you'll have a beautiful wall of albums on your DISCO Catalogs for your clients to browse through. By default, we'll show them the newest albums, but they'll also be able to sort by title and artist name.
