How DISCO works with iTunes/Apple Music
DISCO plays nicely with iTunes/Apple Music. You can drag and drop tracks right out of your iTunes or Apple Music into DISCO:
DISCO will also pick up all the audio metadata you add to the file in iTunes (so long as the file supports it).
Importing your iTunes playlists
We can help you import your iTunes playlists into DISCO. Here's how it works:
1. Make sure all the music that the playlists contain is uploaded to your DISCO
The quickest way to do this is with our bulk uploader.
2. Export your playlists from iTunes/Apple Music
Once the music is uploaded, in iTunes/Apple Music, click File > Library > Export Library:
Save the xml file.
3. Zip the XML file
Next, zip the XML file.
On Mac, right click the file and click 'Compress library.xml'.
On Windows, right click the file and choose Send To, then Slide Right and choose Compressed (zipped) folder.
4. Send the XML to us
Send the zipped XML file to us at firstname.lastname@example.org, listing your email and the name of the DISCO you'd like the playlists imported to. We'll let you know when it's ready.
